Soya chaap recipe

Main Ingredients

  • soya chaap(cut into pieces)
  • 5-6 medium size tomatoes
  • 3 medium size onion
  • 4-5 garlic
  • ginger
  • 2-3 green chilli

dry spices

  • 2-3 green cardamom
  • 2-3 loong
  • 1 tej patta

spices powder

  • 1/2 tsp Haldi powder
  • 2 tbsp dhaniya powder
  • 1 tbsp deggi lal mirch
  • 1 tbsp roasted jeera powder

steps to make soya chaap

1] Take kadai put oil into it and shallow fry the soya chaap( not deep fry )on a low- medium flame for 8-10 minutes or
(till the colour of soya chaap will light golden brown)

2] drawn soya chaap in a bowl, marinate it with butter, chaat masala, 2-tbsp curd(make sure the curd is not sour) mix it well.

3] Make a paste of tomato, onion, ginger-garlic and chilli, grind it well in a mixture jar

4] put same kadai on a gas stove in which you fry sooya chaap

5] put dry spices(Mentioned above) stir them for a minute and add paste (which you grind) into a Kadai and stir for at least 10-15 minute on a low- medium flame or till the oil is separated from the gravy.

6] Add 1 tbsp salt( or as required), coriander powder, red chilli powder, haldi powder, roasted jeera powder and stir for another 2-3 minutes

7] put marinated soya chaap into kadai and mix it well with
gravy for 1-2 minutes

8] once gravy masala blend very well with soya chaap then add 1 cup of water into it.

9] ADD 1 tbsp kasuri meethi, 1 tbsp garam masala(gas should be on a low-medium flame)

10] cover the kadai and cook for 5-10 minute on a low flame.

11] Now garnish your soya chaap recipe with green coriander
and enjoy it with roti, naan or parathas.
