palak paneer is one of the most popular Recipe of north India. No wedding or occassion is possible without palak paneer. It is very healthy as well as simple to make recipe. You can make it at your home by following the simple steps.
MAIN INGREDIENTS :
- 3-4 garlic (roughly chopped)
- sliced ginger (roughly chopped)
- 1-2 medium-sized onion
- 1 tomato
- 2-3 green chilli
- 1 cup yoghurt (
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seed
- spinach leaves (400g) always use fresh spinach
- 200g cheese (paneer)
- green coriander leaves (optional)
- 1- tsp turmeric powder
- 1-tsp salt
- 2 tsp dhania(coriander) powder
- 1- tsp red chilli powder
- 1-tsp garam masala powder
Steps to make palak paneer
1] take a pot then add spinach leaves in hot water for 2-3 minutes along with little salt.
2] put spinach in cold water, so that it release their heat as well as retain green colour.
3] along with that you need to prepare gravy. so take a pan put oil (you may add ghee or butter), jeera, roughly chopped ginger- garlic, sliced green chilli then stir for 1 minute only.
5] take a mixture jar put onion- ginger, tomato paste into it also add spinach leaves and blend it well to make a puree. you may add little water to make finely paste.
6] take a same pan in which you roast masale put oil, butter into it and roast all dry spices mentioned above for atleast a minute on a low flame.
7] Add palak puree and 1 cup water into the pan make sure spinach consistency should be thick and nice.
8] once boil comes into the spinach or spinach is cokked add yoghurt (dahi) into it
9] finally add sliced paneer mix it well, then cover for 2-3 minute and cook.
10] Atlast sprinkle garam masala powder. And enjoy your palak paneer recipe with roti, parathas, naan or with jeera rice.
