kadhi pakora recipe

kadhi pakora is the popular north Indian cuisine, you can make delicious kadhi recipe at home with simple steps.

MAIN INGREDIENTS TO MAKE PAKORA
  • To Make pakora you require :
  • 1-2 medium sized onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 green chillies ( finely chopped)
  • small piece of ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 100g water (half cup)
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 cup besan (or 250g)
  • salt (As required)
To make pakora follow the steps carefully:

1] Take a bowl put 1 cup besan, red chilli powder, salt, coriander seeds (In quantity mentioned above) and blend it.

2] Add water slowly into the bowl and blend it well so that no lumps remain in batter then put 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.

3] blend besan with water till it makes a smooth or fluffy batter. Make sure it should be lumps free.

4] Add chopped green chilles, ginger, onion and mix it well with whole mixture.

5] you may add little water if required but make sure not to give flowing consistency to batter. the batter needs to be smooth and let the beasn batter rest for 10 minutes.

6] After 10 minutes add 1/4 tsp baking powder and mix it.

7] Take a kadai or non stick pan add mustard oil in it, The gas should be on medium flame.

8] when oil is sufficiently heat make small bolls of beasn batter and thrown it into kadai and fry pakora till golden brown.

MAIN INGREDIENTS TO MAKE KADHI

  • 2 Cup dahi ( curd)
  • 1 cup besan
  • 1 tsp methi dana
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 dried red chiillies
  • 1 tej patta
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • kadhi patta
  • ginger-garlic paste (optional)
steps To Make Kadhi

1] Very important to make a good kadhi you need to put dahi, besan, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder (quantity mentioned above) in mixture jar And blend it.

2] Put 500ml ( half litre) water in jar then blend further.

3] Now take kadai put oil into it, add methi dana, sliced green chilli and stir.

4] put mixture jar’s blended beasan, dahi paste into kadai, keep stirring untill kadhi boil. gas should be on medium flame, It may takes 15-17 minutes.

5] after kadhi has come to a boil, you may put ginger-garlic paste. Gas should be on low flame and cook for another 10 minutes.

6] Once you find kadhi remains half of it, and the consistency little thickens, then put pakoras in kadhi. stir gently

7] cover it with a plate, let the pakoras be soaked in the kadhi.

8] for seasoning the kadhi, take a pan put oil, tej patta, mustard seeds, coriander seeds, dried red chillies, kadhi patta and roast for at least 1 minute on a low flame. Now put it on kadhi.

9] serve kadhi pakora with jeera rice, parathas, or roti. however kadhi pakora is much popular with jeera rice. I
